Many years ago I came from the Chicago area to settle in New York City and from the beginning I have been captivated by the history and culture of the city at large. Having studied theatre in college, I've been privileged through the years to find opportunities as a performer and voice over artist and now I'm applying those performance skills to my work as a city tour guide.
Since 2006 I've lived in the Riverdale section of the Bronx with husband Scott and dog Reggie. After acquiring my NYC tour guide license in 2023, I've turned my energy to city walking tours along with docent work at the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Garden - one of the few remaining 18th century buildings in the city.
I have discovered my bliss and my joy by sharing NYC adventures with others. After that, we are friends forever!
I'll meet you at your hotel and we'll take the train from Grand Central to a wholly different kind of Bronx. From Wave Hill to the Estate area along the Hudson, to rustic Riverdale Park and from Fieldston historic district to a 1740's colonial house in Van Cortlandt Park -- see the flip side of the Boogie Down Bronx. Walks can be designed as urban or as rural as you desire. Explore with me!
