Joan contacted us early on and made us feel like we already knew her. She met us at our hotel and shepherded us through a wonderful visit to the north Bronx, an area that was totally new to us. Our most memorable moment was the view of the George Washington bridge from the lovely Wave Hill.
Joan was such good company and so knowledgeable about all of the areas that we explored. I had a lovely day and learnt so much which meant that I was much more confident exploring the following day on my own. I wouldn’t have spent much time walking in Brooklyn so I’m really glad that we spent a lot of time there as it was one of my favourite places.
